Reflections of New Orleans

I'm showing you the whole cover so you can see how differently the thread choice impacts this monochromatic design. As others in this series, Reflections of New Orleans features iconic landmarks, symbols, and items from this great city. 2018 was the city's tricentennial, so what better way to celebrate. 

Shown stitched in Fiberlicious Hand Dyed Spun Silk "Opal Galaxy" on the featured model and "Neverland" on the inset.  It took only two 40-meter skeins to finish, as a single ply is good even at 14 stitches per inch. Fabric is 28 count "Sprite" by Picture This Plus for the main; 32 count "Gossamer" by PTP for the bright version. Design size is 115 square.
